Transverse & Longitudinal Waves
Paul Andersen compares and contrasts transverse and longitudinal waves. Waves carry energy through oscillations. In transverse waves the oscillations are perpendicular to the direction of the wave and in longitudinal they are parallel. Several examples and a simulation are included.
